Who Am I?

Back in the late 20th Century (circa 1982) two insane individuals came together in a glorious ceremony dedicated to the singluar purpose of creating the coolest human being ever conceived.  Unfortunately they failed to hit the mark and wound up with me.

Luckily for those two I was the next best thing; an intelligent, passionate, outspoken, risk-taking, fun-loving, thoughtful, creative, cool, extravagant, innately curious, courteous, charming young boy riddled with faults and ready to scoff in the face of authority.

Since my conception I have experienced a fairly cinematic suburban American childhood, trips to foreign lands, a role in a Shakespearean play, starting position on the JV football team as a defensive lineman, a stint at the prestigious University of Texas at Austin*, several broken bones, various modes of (un)employment, residency in two states, an insatiable internet addiction, and an astounding zero arrests by law enforcement.

In the Fall of 2006 I was looking for better weather and more exciting drugs jobs, so I moved to Los Angeles.  First landing in Santa Monica and eventually settling in West Hollywood.  Before long I started a live concert review blog with my buddy Lorn and personally attended over 200 concerts in it’s first two years.

My adventures in Southern California have been influenced by many different facets of the entertainment industry, but I found a dedicated interest in blogging, social networks, and new media.

I’m don’t have many long-term goals, but I know what I like.  So, let’s see what happens.
